Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Pork belly
  • 2 tbsp garlic (minced or crushed)
  • 2 pcs bay leaves
  • 4 tbsp vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Kikkoman Soy Sauce Koikuchi
  • 1 tbsp peppercorn
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup stock
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions

  1. 01 Mix pork belly with soy sauce, vinegar, bay leaves, peppercorn, and garlic.
  2. 02 Sear the marinated pork until brown on all sides, then set aside.
  3. 03 In the same pan, saute garlic until fragrant.
  4. 04 Put back the pork into the pan, cover, and bring to a boil.
  5. 05 Once boiling, add the stock.
  6. 06 Simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until the pork is tender.
  7. 07 Transfer to a platter and serve hot.
