Cantonese Wonton Soup
Ingredients
- 1 pack wonton wrappers (around 50)
- 2 lbs shell-on medium shrimp (or 1 lb 10 oz deshelled)
- 2 tbsp shaoxing wine
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp white pepper powder
- 1 pc egg white
Cooking Instructions
- 01 In a bowl, mix Sea Chef shrimp with shaoxing wine.
- 02 Add cornstarch, salt, sugar, sesame oil, and white pepper.
- 03 Add egg white and combine well. Set aside.
- 04 Place 1 tablespoon of filling on a wrapper and fold to seal.
- 05 Repeat until all filling or wrappers are used.
- 06 Boil broth, cook wontons, and serve hot.
